BULLION MARKET
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 21 August 2026 · Version 1.0
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern every order placed with Bullion Market ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order on this website you confirm you have read, understood and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not place an order.
These Terms are a template prepared for an early-stage operation. They are not legal advice. Review them with a qualified adviser before commercial launch, and update them before your business details (address, company registration) are final.
1. Who we are
Bullion Market is an independent bullion reseller. We do not manufacture precious metal products; we purchase stock from a licensed supplier (currently The Royal Mint) and resell it to you.
Contact: [email protected] · Correspondence address: Bullion Market, P.O. Box, United Kingdom.
(Full postal address to be confirmed — update this page when the details are final.)
2. Our products
All products are physical investment-grade bullion. Product descriptions, weights and fineness are as stated on the product page. Photographs are illustrative; the item you receive matches the specification stated, not necessarily the exact item photographed.
3. Pricing, taxes and payment
- All prices are shown in GBP ex-VAT.
- Gold investment bullion (e.g. Britannia, Sovereign, and other HMRC-recognised investment coins) is VAT-exempt under VATA 1994 Sch 9 Group 15.
- Where VAT applies (silver products), 20% VAT is added transparently at checkout and shown before you pay.
- Our selling price is calculated from live supplier/market spot reference prices plus our margin. Spot prices move constantly; the amount displayed at checkout is the amount you owe and is locked at that moment.
- Payment is accepted in cryptocurrency (ETH, BNB, AVAX). Once a crypto payment is broadcast to the network it cannot be cancelled by us. Orders are only fulfilled after payment is confirmed on-chain.
- Cryptocurrency is volatile. The fiat value of your payment is fixed at checkout using the displayed conversion rate; we do not offer refunds for subsequent price movements.
4. Order confirmation and fulfilment
- Your order is registered when you submit it. It moves to "confirmed" once your crypto payment is detected on-chain.
- We then purchase the corresponding stock from our supplier and arrange delivery to the delivery address you provided.
- Delivery times are estimates. While we aim to dispatch promptly after your payment clears, delivery depends on our supplier's stock and dispatch, and courier transit. We will keep you informed.
- Title to the bullion passes to you when the goods are dispatched to you. Risk passes to you on delivery.
- It is your responsibility to provide a correct delivery address. If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable through no fault of ours, we may charge reasonable re-delivery costs.
5. Refunds and returns
- You may cancel an order and receive a refund within 14 days of the order being placed, provided the goods have not yet been shipped. If the goods have shipped, the returns policy below applies.
- Returned items must be unaltered and in sealed/unopened condition in their original packaging, with all assay certificates and accompanying documentation.
- You must notify us before returning any item. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty or not as described.
- Refunds are issued after the returned item is received and verified, to the original payment method where possible, or in GBP by bank transfer otherwise. Refunds may take up to 14 days to appear.
- We do not buy back bullion. If you wish to sell gold or silver to us, contact us for a separate arrangement.
6. Anti-money laundering (AML) and verification
Bullion dealing is regulated activity under UK anti-money-laundering law. We apply appropriate customer due-diligence checks. For orders above applicable thresholds, or where we reasonably suspect suspicious activity, we may require proof of identity and source of funds before fulfilling an order. We may refuse or hold an order where required by law.
7. Limitation of liability
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
- We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of data, or indirect or consequential losses arising from your order, to the extent permitted by law.
- We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including supplier stock shortages, network or payment-provider outages, or courier disruption.
- Precious metal prices can fall as well as rise. We provide no investment advice; buying bullion is a financial decision you make yourself.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
